Most feminists already now that men lie. Just because women don’t feature much in the history books does not mean our contributions to the world don’t exist. Men have embellished their accomplishme…
Ha! This is golden!! I hope my followers are interested in feminism - especially as our fashion choices are not mainstream and so society with it`s rape culture would like to blame any harassment we get for our clothes on us. No. We dress and makeup the way we do because WE want it for ourselves, it`s self expression, it`s fun. Not for enjoyment of some random ass men, honking from their cars and crying when someone of facebook takes away their “boobs” pictures. GYARU power!

white trend for summer on BLENDA 2013.05…. well, it`s going to be super hard for people like me - as soon as I put on sth white all kinds of dirt, juice fruit, tomato sauce etc seems to start come flying my way XDDD
some quick translation:
each girl recommend “best gyaru” in her opinion! watanabe kaoru recommends Gehako! “yamanba is national treasure” says Watanabe ;D her nickname is gehako bc she started going bald from bleaching (hage = bald). she`s wearing 4 pairs of lashes when in yamanba, but works wearing no makeup.
Gehako recommends Wakapiku as best gyaru! :D She is a dokusha (reader) model and dyes and cuts her hair herself. Reasons she became gyaru are: she was bullied as a kid, was fat and couldn`t go to school (bc of the bullies?) but then she saw Kawabata Kanako (EGG model) and thought she looks cute and got more interested in makeup and fashion and eventually became a popular model :D
Wakapiko thinks “the strongest” best gyaru is Bazu (Bazukisutan), who`s a shiro-manba! She explains shiro-manba is a modern, white version of popular in 90` yamanba trend, mixed with current shiro-nuri trend. She`s the first one to do this mix style :D Something she pays special attention to is… good manners and following rules in the streets, because her outfits stand out so much already. :)
“Gyaru express themselves freely and are happy with who they are” says NHK. (Don`t you think western gyaru online community is too anal about all the rules? Look at those girls, they do what they want and THAT makes them gyaru) Peace out!
Magazines that I’ve bought in Japan!
